Did informal intervals during commercials, some speed and some strength. I did two intervals standing up on the pedals with the gears at 3 and 8 (hardest).
I am very disappointed in my preparation for these next two races. I am so frustrated in what seems to be no change in my performance (but I am not really practicing, so what do I expect?) that it is nearly impossible to get motivated to work out.
It will really be a relief to be done with the biking and swimming for a couple months. I don't know if I will love the half-marathon training, but it feels like it might be easier to schedule. There are so many things I want to do in a day, I need about 15 more hours (of light) to do them!
Today's moral: SNAP OUT OF IT.
