I needed a long cool down, as this was challenging. I hadn't eaten anything so I will have to see how that effects my HR. I was in the 170s for the first mile and a half, then 180-181 up to 2 miles. After that, I was way high (I checked it at 188 at one point). But overall I am glad I got this workout in. I think I could walk the same route briskly in nearly the same time, but would I have burned as many calories?
So I jogged like 13 or 14 minutes and I should be stoked, but I am not.
Last night (and this morning) I felt very low and very frustrated at my lack of inspiration for these next two tris. I don't like to workout by myself (though I seem to push myself a little harder when I do). I can't expect anyone to workout with me (my schedule is weird, and I only know one other person doing this). I was supposed to run last night and I didn't because my workout buddy cancelled. How can I be so unmotivated? The goal is fitness, right? And I am becoming more fit, right? (But oh, so slowly.) I just wish I was seeing some rewards in my clothing size or my energy level.
